São Paulo Underground stretches back two decades, finding new intersections between free jazz and Brazilian rhythms. With his Elephantine project, Maurice Louca works with diverse collaborators to articulate a sonic vision far apart from its stylistic inspirations. They meet South Africa’s iconic bow-player Madosini in a hybrid concert.
