The music of the duo from São Paulo, consisting of drummer Wagner Ramos and trumpeter Rômulo Alexis, is characterised by references to the sounds of the African diaspora. With samples of speeches or distinctive voices like that of Martin Luther King or Muhammad Ali, the two musicians make references to the collective memory of the Afroamerican community.
