Jazzfest Berlin On Air – Deutschlandfunk Kultur

You can also listen to a selection of this year’s concerts at home or on the go. Thanks to our co-operation with the ARD radio network and Deutschlandradio, you once again have the opportunity to follow Jazzfest Berlin on air. On the Friday of the festival, Deutschlandfunk Kultur will broadcast the concerts live from the Haus der Berliner Festspiele as well as from the clubs A-Trane and Quasimodo – with reedist David Murray’s dazzling quartet presenting “Birdly Serenade”, the group’s sophisticated debut album, and a performance of the tight quartet led by the great Chicago drummer and bandleader Makaya McCraven, among others.

Deutschlandfunk Kultur can be received in Berlin on 89.6 MHz, cable 97.50, nation-wide via satellite, DAB+ and live stream on deutschlandfunkkultur.de.
