<p>MaerzMusik will take place from 21 to 30&nbsp;March 2025 under the artistic direction of Kamila Metwaly. Over ten days, the festival will feature multidisciplinary projects and concerts that transcend traditional dualisms, opening new interrelational perspectives.</p>

<p>The 24th festival edition presents works by and with Jad Atoui, Mark Barden, Chaya Czernowin, Sarah Davachi, Clara Iannotta, Panayiotis Kokoras, Joan La Barbara, Catherine Lamb, Ligia Lewis, Moritz Lobeck, Brigitta Muntendorf, Nguyễn + Transitory, Enno Poppe, Steven Schick, Matthew Shlomowitz, Jennifer Walshe and Ute Wassermann as well as ensembles such as Ensemble Modern, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, Ensemble Nikel, Percussion Orchestra Cologne, Synaesthesis and Yarn/Wire. Together, composers, artists and musicians will push the boundaries of sound, inviting audiences to explore new, transformative possibilities in contemporary music.</p>

<h3>Problems with the Playback of Videos</h3><p>Due to technical difficulties, videos in our media library cannot be played at the moment. We are working on a solution and ask for your understanding.</p>

<h3>Suggestions on Sustainability and Streaming</h3><p>In order to save energy and reduce your CO2-emissions, please watch videos on a on a smart phone, notebook or laptop wherever possible rather than on a TV-set or large flat-screen. For data transmission, we suggest that you use a LAN cable rather than an internet connection via mobile telephony. When you stream videos, please make sure to choose the appropriate image quality: If you select a slightly lower resolution such as 720p or 480p instead of watching in full HD-resolution, you will consume less energy.</p>
