Alexander Melnikov in conversation with Daniel Frosch

Alexander Melnikov will perform three concerts at the Musikfest Berlin 2023, two of them – on 27 and 29 August at the Philharmonie Berlin – presenting piano and chamber music by Sergei Rachmaninoff, who would have turned 150 this year. Melnikov explains in conversation why he appreciates Rachmaninov's controversial music and also talks about the joy of being able to go on stage with his favourite musical partners.
