In “Thikra: Night of Remembering”, the renowned British choreographer and dancer Akram Khan explores universal questions concerning the heritage of female ancestors and their rituals and languages of movement. Ten female dancers from two different traditions are brought together in a choreography that points to the future far beyond the specifics of these two styles.
