Lecture by Shaul Setter as part of the forum “What’s the Way Out? Jews and Palestinians between Walls and Wants”

As part of the forum on civil society’s requirements for peace, representatives of four institutions offer their perspectives on the issue of reconciliation and the effects that 7 October and the war in Gaza have had on their work. Shaul Setter talks about the “Critical Lab” at Bezalel Academy for Arts and Design in Jerusalem and the question of finding a way out. 

Shaul Setter – Lecturer and Writer, Literary Scholar

Shaul Setter is a lecturer and writer in the fields of art, literature and theory, and head of the Master’s Program in Policy and Theory of the Arts at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He researches and writes on the relationship between aesthetics and politics in Israel/Palestine and Europe, and is currently editing a special issue of the journal “Theory and Criticism” on the Israel-Gaza war.
