Radio drama is a medium of imagination, voices, sounds and spaces – and at the same time an artistic field that is constantly reinventing itself. In this event, we focus on radio plays as a literary genre: in the first part, we talk to radio play artists about their working methods, aesthetic decisions and the particular challenges and freedoms of the medium. How are radio play scripts created? What role does the script play in interaction with sound, voice and imagination? How important is the direction, and how important is the technology?
