Werther in LOVE

Lotte shakes up Werther’s emotional world. He sees her as his soul mate, but she is with Albert. In this modern adaptation, Goethe’s Werther is an influencer who not only tells his friend Wilhelm about his love for Lotte via WhatsApp, but also keeps his followers on Instagram up to date with his heartache. The actors use the character of Werther to approach the questions: What is love? Can you lose yourself in love? And is love really eternal?
