In 2026, the Berliner Festspiele will celebrate their 75th anniversary. Meron Mendel delivered the commemorative speech on 28 August at the Philharmonie Berlin as part of the opening event of the Musikfest Berlin – György Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre.
